In the first edition of this piece, I said I sought to merge traditional Japanese aesthetics with contemporary digital techniques. After creating the original work, Nihonga Madness, I decided to let my digital imagination take over and push the boundaries of digital art, allowing them to overpower the traditional ink wash aspect of the original work.
