Ladies of Love painting by Tamassia Martins

The Italian title is “L’amore Delle Signore.” I created this painting of two ballerinas dancing, as a gift for my friend Diane and her wife, on Diane’s birthday. Their elegant pose portrays passion, while its dark red Hughes tells of the power found in love. Unfortunately, the picture didn’t capture the streaks of metallic silver paint I applied using Pollock’s alkyd enamel technique to give the painting a flashy look.
