At some point, every artist paints flowers; I might as well too. In this painting, I tested a new technique of acrylic glazing. Not just mixing glaze into my paint but setting a fresh coat of clear glaze between each layer of paint and color. To my surprise, the outcome was very complex and intensely colorful when penetrated by light.
