This was a commissioned painting by the Mazzi family. The airplane in this work is related to their father’s passion for flying. The trail of hearts and red colors in the sun describes the love left behind by their father, who had passed away in a tragic accident while flying his plane. I used bright colors to return their positive memories of their father’s passion. The English title would be “The Bombardment of Hearts.”
